Reading is changing – we read more, but more fluid texys and in framented modes for different purposes. Students were not reflecting the consequences of digital reading in depth asking questions of sense of change. They felt obliged to show a signs of “ moral panic”, but no one touched issues like “false news” or “work of algorithms” They tried to treat their qualitative data quantitatively – in order to be persuasive? Those questions must be answered in the in-depth study including everyday self-observation in habits and uses of reading. Autho-ethnographic tasks are good example of letting pupils thing about the uses and funtions of reading today.
